How To Describe…
Pathology is all about being observant, thorough, and attentive to details. Pathologists put the macroscopic and microscopic clues together to identify the disease processes occurring in a certain patient. We hope that these hints can help you learn what to look for and how to describe your gross, histopathological, and cytologic findings to others. You may find these pages useful if you take either the Surgical Pathology or the Diagnostic Cytology electives!
